The MoveLink UC1 from Godox provides an easy-to-use and cost-effective entry into the world of hands-free wireless audio for a wide variety of content creators, including YouTube and TikTok personalities, vloggers, mobile journalists, and more. The system offers an ultracompact clip-on microphone/transmitter, a lavalier mic, and a two-channel, camera-mountable receiver to provide a portable, all-inclusive solution that lets you record a subject's audio to a mobile device with a USB Type-C port.

 

The tiny transmitter weighs less than 1 oz and features a built-in clip and an omnidirectional microphone, making it simple to attach it to a lapel or shirt for quick and easy, true-wireless audio. The back of the clip is magnetic, and an iron pad is included—providing an alternative way to discreetly attach the transmitters to clothing. The UC1 uses digital frequency-hopping technology in the 2.4 GHz bandwidth system to ensure a clear transmission at a maximum line-of-sight range of 164'. For a more low-profile appearance, you can use the included lavalier microphone and simply plug the mic's 3.9' cable into the 3.5mm input port on the transmitter.

 

The tiny, lightweight, two-channel receiver plugs directly into the USB Type-C port on your mobile device, which supplies it with power, and allows you to record up to two subjects at once to your phone using a single component; simply add an additional transmitter (available separately) for applications with two presenters on camera at once.

 

The transmitter features an internal, rechargeable lithium-ion battery that will run for up to 6 hours and is recharged through the USB Type-C port, which will also power the unit if you have access to AC. A USB cable is included, and the system can be expanded with additional transmitters and receivers to allow up to 8 microphones in use on set at one time.
